No its not true. But it does kinda make sense.   Ever since Travis Hafner went on the DL who has been our DH?  A bunch of guys really, but mostly just to fill the spot.  David Delluci shouldn’t see any playing time the rest of the year.  He is not that bad, but Grady, Franklin, [...]

For weeks I have been big on the trade CC bandwagon.  Maybe, just maybe, we should keep him.  We should only keep him if…..and I have a few ifs.  If Fausto comes back and you have a pitching rotaion of CC, Cliff Lee, Fausto and Aaron Laffey it is very formidable, especially in a playoff [...]

I read this and found it interesting. The chargers are looking to trade WR Eric Parker.  They want a late round draft pick.  Since Rob Chudzinski was his coach he is familiar with him and reportedly has interest in picking him up.

Congratulations Fresno State

I don’t normally watch a lot of college baseball but I did watch Fresno State in this tournament.  They were the lowest ranked team to ever win ANY national championship.  Congratulations.

Thank you Toronto Raptors

They pulled off the big trade for Jemaine O’Neal.   Now there is no way the Cavs will get him.  The draft is tonight and there is still no clue what Danny Ferry has planned.   I still like Brandon Rush if he falls to them.  Roy Hibbert if they sit at 19 and wait.  I also [...]

Ok I have been thinking about this one for a while.  What do the Cavs need most? I would either say a shooting guard who can consistently score 20+ points a game or a big who can do the same.  Among all the free agents and potential draft picks there are possibilities but we also [...]

Somewhere I have read about the possibility of the Knicks trading their pick , 6, and Zack Randolph, to the cavs for their pick, 19, and expiring contracts like Varajeo.  I think it is a good move. The 6th pick gets you a better player, and Randolph is a better scorer than Andy.  I think [...]

I have the great fortune of living in the town of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, the Cleveland Indians low class A affiliate.  With that in mind I had the opportunity last night to see Lonnie Chisenhall, the Tribe’s first round pick in the amateur draft 2 weeks ago.  I would like to say he had [...]

This is from Mark Cuban. Very interesting stuff about the salary cap. Among other things it explains how a salary cap can be BAD for a small market team.
